Eileen Peters, Founder of The Ideas Generation

Packing three decades of diverse experience into a few sentences is no easy task; everything Eileen has worked on has taught her something she has gone on to apply to other projects in other sectors.

Eileen is a communication and engagement expert with over 30 years’ experience in roles spanning a diverse range of sectors including digital health, technology, professional services, FMCG, arts & culture and not-for-profit.

Her foundation in marketing and communications included working for award-winning agencies and founding her own creative agency. She co-founded an online retail business which she sold in 2010 (a process she describes as her unofficial MBA). Realising that her skillset reached beyond marcoms and business development into project management and facilitation, Eileen sought to underpin what she was innately doing well with recognised training. In 2014 she was approached by a tech start-up to project manage an NHS England funded mental health study using virtual reality technology in a prison. Over the next 3 years she oversaw multiple projects in schools, hospitals and social settings for this company.

Eileen is a true multi-disciplinarian; her personal style is highly collaborative and enabling which puts engagement at the heart of everything The Ideas Generation offers.
